Machu Picchu, one of the seven new world wonders. A mysterious place with a rich Inca history. It is very impressive and don't listen to the people who say it's too busy there because of all the tourists. I can only one thing to say: Arise earlier and be the first.

04:00, and, as soon as we sat at the breakfast table. It was difficult, but if you know why you do it, it all falls into perspective. At 06:00 We were finally on the bus on the way to Machu Picchu. The journey takes about half an hour. If you do not want to wait for the bus, You can also walk up there. That on average takes about 2 hours. Na Salkantay's trek (see previous message) we could enjoy the van. On arrival we had our guide explained the history and origin of Machu Picchu. Due to the incredible view it sometimes was difficult to keep it in focus. It was interesting. Soon we were split into two groups. Some went to climb the Huayna / Wayna Picchu mountain and part of the Machu Picchu mountain.
Huayna Picchu mountain is restricted. 'Only’ 400 visitors per day may have on. I must your ticket also booked for months in advance. If so, could you start on 'the stairs of death'. You have to climb 185m and then only with stairs. On the one hand, a rock wall, and then again sometimes a precipice. When climbing you have to sometimes use your hands. Go to the top is quite nice until you realize that your only way back. When I came upstairs after 40min I could do not complain, what a view. A part of the mountain was covered by clouds (these were still rising), but withdrew after about 30min away. It is not big top, but enough to entertain you sure 2u. Just enjoy and relax.
Na solid downhill we visited with knees. Now just walking around Machu Picchu. Gotta say the tourists really ruin a part of vision. Fortunately we had in the morning already the most seen. Nothing to complain about so. By bus back to Aguas Calientes there some nosing around. Also a very nice town anyway. In the evening we took the train back to Cusco. This was the end of our adventure.
