Every Saturday morning have Lila and Elena football training 09:00 'in the morning. Anna and I have today gone along to watch their matches. Lila is still young, so really at a high level, they do not play course. She first three small technique exercises and then play them three small soccer matches. These take each 15 minutes and they stand 12 on the field. It's very cute to see! They have in fact not yet learned what positions on the field so they all entail walk together to the ball. Luanna promised Lila that she received β¬ 5 for every goal she made. She has 2 scored once (Fortunately for Luanna!). But despite that Lila was still “Player of the day”. She was therefore also a small trophy back home.
Elena's football training was something more professional. She is also a bit older. Elena's team did have unfortunately lost…
Then it was time to leave for Piha with family. It is about 30 minute drive from here. When we arrived at the beach was the first thing that struck me the black sand. This is because there is a lot of iron in the sea. In the sense of non-ferrous metal, of course,. I find that personally quite impressive, This week we have not in Belgium. We have even seen blue jellyfish on the beach!
Piha is very beautiful but has a dangerous side. If you're not careful, you can sometimes get stuck. There are already there ie people died… Maar Donβt Worry, ik ben er nog π Het is namelijk zo dat je een kleine klim maakt (unfortunately I did not meet my hiking boots) and then drops back down to land on a beautiful glade. This is on the one side of the “circle” bordered by rocks and then again by the sea. When the tide comes in you need to make you out of that open space is gone. The water will rise quickly and fill the whole place. The water also goes into- and block exit.
It started unfortunately fairly quickly to rain but when we got into the car and drove to the other side of the beach. Since it curiously was still sunny. 🌞 Lila and Elena have since used it for a “zandmannetje” to make. It was very cute how Lila began to weep because we had to leave and she could not take her sandman.
We are driven to a local chip shop and have it nice feasted on all the goodies. But the French fries are the best 😉!
